![]() ![]() I tried to print a test file and it showed "spooling" for a second and then said error but gave not idea what the error was about. ![]() this time the installer actually installed the files. Had fun getting permission to change my own files but finally did and deleted the folder with the zebra files. Looked in the C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository and found zebra drivers. I searched for the INF and also went through all the OEM*.inf files to make sure none of them were I ran the zebra uninstaller to make sure all drivers were cleared out I restarted the machine (I tried installing the drivers after the restart and the installer said it skipped installing the files because they already existed argh - Started over back at the top of this list) I went into the Print Management/print server properties so I could remove the driver and driver package. I stopped and restarrted the Print Spooler Service to release the driver so it could be removed in the next step. I went into the Devices and Printers and removed the printer. BTW I installed this on MY laptop and it works fine (also Win 7 Ultimate 64bit). So I am not sre what she did and I have been trying to fix it ever since. My wife tried installing it on her machine (Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit) Hello, I know there is a lot to read here but please help! I have been going around in circles with trying to install my Zebra ZP500 Thermal printer that I use for shipping labels. ![]()
